Red Revolution - Genestealers

Buenas!!
Siguiendo con el tema de una entrada anterior... el caso es que tengo 10 Genestealers pintados desde hace ya tiempo, y dado que tanto en la Campaña del Ordo Xenos como en el Culto Genestealer son importantes, me he decidido a rescatarlas y darles un par de detalles extra para ponerlos a punto para los Informes de Batalla.

So, after what I told you on a previous post... thing is that I already have 10 painted Genestealers from some time ago, but given the fact that both in the Ordo Xenos Campaign, and the Genestealer Cult, those are some important models, I've decided to give them some more detail to get them ready for the Battlereports.

Como veis arriba, el pintado era adecuado para jugar, con ligeros cambios de color de rojos oscuros a rojos anaranjados, pero después de mi paso por el Epic, me gustan un poco más los cambios de tonalidad algo más bruscos y creo que en las fotos de las partidas harán que destaquen un poco más.

As you can see, the painting was good enough to play with them, with small variations of colour; from dark red to some orange-like red, but after painting so much Epic, I like the strong changes of colour more now, so I've done some modifications I think will help them to be spoted more easily on the game.

En el Culto Genestealer, estas criaturas inician la infestación, por lo que me ha parecido necesario empezar por ellos.
En la Red Ribbon, pueden ser simplemente experimentos biológicos con células de organismos letales del planeta creados para ser usados como maquinas de matar para el ejercito (inspirado por Cell).

In the Genestealer Cult, these creatures are the ones that start the infestation, that's why I thought it was apropiate to start with them.
On the Red Ribbon, they can be biological experiments made from cells of the most lethal creatures of the planet made to be used as killing machines for the army (taking Cell as inspiration).

Dominatrix para 40K - "Tyranid" Aquila Strongpoint Project! WIP 17

Por fin esta ya esto listo para pintar!

I'm finally ready to paint it!

A algunos os sonará la Dominatrix (por ejemplo por el modelo que hice), y el caso es que si os fijáis, la parte de arriba del Biotitan veres una cosa "pequeña" dentro de una especie de pinza... eso es la Dominatrix y eso es lo que he intentado imitar en escala de 40K.

Some of you will know what a Dominatrix is (the model I did for example), the thing is, if you look close the top of the Biotitan, you'll see a "small" thing inside some kind of claw... that is the Dominatrix and that is what I tried to do on 40K scale.

Como da la casualidad que el Cañonero de la Fortaleza Aquila tiene una forma similar a la misma, me animé a hacer la pieza que le faltaba para adaptarlo y poder usar ese modelo en la campaña del Ordo Xenos si la situación llega a permitirlo (pero al menos tendremos la posibilidad de hacerlo).

As a simple coincidence, the Gunner of the Aquila Strongpoint looks really similar to it, I decided to make the missing part, so I could use it as a Dominatrix in the Ordo Xenos campaign if the situation allows it (but I have to do the model just to have the oportunity to use it).

Como podéis ver, empecé a hacer la base con corcho para luego pasar a enmasillar.

As you can see, I made the base with cork and then I used the Greenstuff.

Y como siempre, una foto final con unos brazos pequeños, solo por poner algo ahí xD

Red Ribbon Army - Genestealer Cult Project.

Bueno... cuanto antes renuncio a un proyecto, antes me dan la excusa para retomarlo...
Como todo el mundo sabe, ha salido el Culto Genestealer y puede usar tanques y unidades de Guardia Imperial por lo que podré usar las compras que hice para el anterior proyecto.

So... the sooner I give up on a project, the sooner a new oportunity is given to me to return to it...

As everybody knows, the Genestealer Cult is out and you can use tanks and Imperial Guard squads so I'll be able to use the things I bought for the other project.

En esta ocasión, al tratarse de un ejercito de Culto Genestealer que quiero que cuente con los símbolos típicos del (y que sirva a modo de homenaje para) el ejercito de la Red Ribbon he tenido que pensar en un nombre adecuado para el Culto, y en este caso el nombre (a mi parecer) ideal es la Revolución Roja, dado que encaja con el tema de los Cultos Genestealer de que instigan alzamientos contra las autoridades locales con el fin de ser ellos los que tomen el poder a parte de que mis Tiránidos son rojos (los Genestealers casi al 100%) y que en ingles también coinciden las siglas con el nombre Red Revolution.
También comentar que creo que basaré el Culto en un Mundo Forja porque con el nivel tecnológico tan superior que se supone que tiene la Red Ribbon, creo que va a quedar mejor en cuanto a trasfondo.

This time, due to it being a Genestealer Cult that I want it to use all (and be a tribute for) the Red Ribbon army symbols so I've had to think about an adecuate name for them, so I decided to use the Red Revolution, that I think it fits the theme of a Genestealer Cult as they want to topple the government and snatch the power for themselves, and my Tyranids are red (Genestealers being almost 100% red) and the name in spanish is Revolución Roja, so the acronym works as well.

I want to mention that I plan to put my Cult on a Forge World, as I think it will be better for the fluff, as the technology of the Red Ribbon was suposed to be really good.

El Comandante Rojo es el jefe supremo de la Red Ribbon, por lo que deberia ser representado como el Patriarca de la Revolución Roja (aunque aquí hay mucho a discutir realmente, dado que es un guerrero más bien nulo y que la figura del Patriarca podría hacer un Cell brutal).

Comandander Red is te supreme leader of the Red Ribbon, so it should be the Patriarch of the Red Revolution (but there is a lot open to discussion here because he is a rather null warrior and the Patriarch model would do a fantastic Cell).

El General Negro, como mano derecha del Comandante Rojo, no puede ser otro que el Magus, por lo que la opción de hacerlo como de traje en lugar de con túnicas y con piel negra son opciones a investigar (aunque como comento más abajo, creo que el papel de Psiquico le quedaría mejor a Azul).

General Black, as right hand of Commander Red, can only be the Magus, so the option of doing him with suit instead of robes and with black skin is an option that must be considered (but as I say below, I think the role of psiquic would suit Blue better).

El General Azul ha sido el personaje con más relevancia en la saga del ejercito de la Red Ribbon, por lo que creo que debería ser el Primus (aunque es una lástima que el psíquico sea el Magus, porque esas habilidades le quedarían que ni pintadas a Azul).

General Blue is the most relevant character of the Red Ribbon arc, so I think he should be the Primus (it's a shame the Magus is de psychic, because those abilities would be perfect for Blue).

Los soldados normales pueden representar a los Neophytes con el uniforme y algun simbolo rojo.

The normal soldiers can be represented by Neophtes, with the uniform and some red simbolism.

Now, let's take a look on the interesting part of the cult:

Como podéis ver hay una serie de soldados en la serie con aspecto... peculiar... perros, zorros o incluso morsas...
¿Son seres con este aspecto o fueron experimentos del ejercito de la Red Ribbon?
Esto me da una excelente oportunidad en el Culto... puedo usar los Acolytes como seres mutantes que el resto de los soldados de la Revolución Roja ve como a uno más, o ser simplemente experimentos con ADN Xenos para crear soldados más mortíferos.

As you can see, there are some soldiers with unique... looking faces... like dogs, foxes or even walruses...

¿Do they just look like that or were they experiments from the Red Ribbon army?
This gives me an excelent oportunity for my Cult... I can use Acolytes as mutants that the other soldiers from the Red Revolution see as just another one of them, or they could just be experiments with Xenos DNA to make more lethal soldiers.

Asi que de momento solo me queda preguntar que os parece el proyecto, y pedir que si sabéis de figuras que puedan quedar bien para encarnar a los personajes de la serie, estoy abierto a sugerencias!
Y nada más por ahora... solo espero que os parezca interesante porque yo estoy muy emocionado! jajaja

So for the time being, I just have to ask for your opinions on this project and for models that you think could be cool as the heroes of the army, I'm open to suggestions!

Nuevo proyecto!

Buenas!
Hoy traigo esta foto... con lo que podéis adivinar cual va a ser el nuevo proyecto que me traigo entre manos; aunque ya os aseguro que no va a ser de la manera usual... estoy preparando algo que siempre he querido hacer y que puede que os guste mucho XD

El caso es que han llegado los pedidos que hice, y que mis padres, en un ataque de generosidad me han regalado otras cosas y todo junto lo podemos ver aquí... un montón de minis para pintar (incluso demasiadas!)

Thing is the orders I made have arrived, and my parents, being very generous, have given me some other stuff, and all together... are a looot of minis to paint (too many even!)

Caos - Diablo de la Forja terminado

Saludos, soy Ricko ahora hacia tiempo que no daba señales de vida, pero finalmente he superado la tirada de "¡No hay dolor!" y vuelvo a estar vivito y coleando en el hobby!

En esta entrada y para descansar unos días de la campaña os presento el Diablo de la Forja.

Lo empecé en mayo, pero como cada año, por temas de trabajo y que no me apetece cerrarme en casa a pintar, realizo un parón, así que el pobre diablo lleva en el taller de chapa y pintura unos cuantos meses...

Empezamos!

 En todo mi ejercito del Caos, las partes de las maquinas con carne, tanto los arrasadores o los poseídos, me gusta pintar con el color rojo, ya sea porque me gusta el contraste o porque sangre de Khorne corre por mis venas...

Soy partidario de poner imanes, ya es por el ahorro económico en minis, por el ahorro de espacio o porque pintar no es uno de mis mayores placeres, los pinto porque en invierno me distrae y me gusta tener un campo de batalla con minis pintadas, de no ser asi, pocas partidas que puedo hacer, si son sin minis pintadas pierde la gracia y la magia del juego.

En las siguientes imágenes, esta con los ectoplasmas equipados, les di un color verde para romper los rojos de la carne y porque el azul quedaba demasiado vistoso, ademas que el azul lo reservo para el plasma de los Templarios.

Intente pintar las "salidas de humos" de la espalda con metalizado bolter y añadir un lavado de tinta de -Nuln Oil-  pero no me gusto, así que al final, las ensucie con un pincel seco de -Warplock Bronze-  y el resultado me encanto.

En estas imágenes esta el Diablo equipado con los cañones hades, me dio muchos dolores de cabeza, porque no sabia como pintar sin dar iluminaciones a los metálicos, no me gustan como quedan, así que le di un toque de -Nuln Oil- y algunas partes las ensucie con -Warplock Bronze-

Larga vida al creador de NULN OIL, hace milagros esa tinta!

Por ultimo la peana, creo que no se aprecia en las imágenes pero, hay arañazos en el suelo como si para tener mas estabilidad al disparar, el diablo a clavado las uñas.

Como veis no soy de poner mucho detalle en peanas. Ademas en esta no cabía gran cosa, como es una mini poco dinámica, no invita a añadir mucho detalle, la verdad.

(Me he dejado de limpiar la parte inferior negra de la peana... que desastre T_T)

Pues esto es todo, espero que os guste la mini.

Ahora mi próximo proyecto sera terminar los propósitos del 2016, que siempre termino yéndome por las ramas y pintando cosas adicionales a lo que me plantee en un principio, así que  ahora le toca a la unidad de Catachan que tengo empezada, una unidad de mando, un par de templarios negros y el Paladin del Emperador \o/

Ordo Xenos - Servocráneo pintado / Painted Servoskull

Bueno, he terminado el Servocráneo, así que empezamos con una foto del mismo con  el Inquisidor:

Well, I've finished the Servoskull, so we'll start with a picture with the Inquisitor:

"Hace mucho tiempo que el Servocráneo acompaña al Inquisidor Kikoho en sus idas y venidas por el Imperio.
Durante una expedición, cuando aún era un Aprendiz a las ordenes de su Maestro, le salvó la vida al interponerse en el ataque de un Genestealer que salió de entre las sombras.
El cadáver Tiránido fue llevado a unas instalaciones de investigación y como premio, se permitió a Kikoho que realizara los experimentos que considerase pertinentes en su merecido trofeo.
Fue a raíz de la dedicación para con sus investigaciones así como el valor y la lealtad demostrados en el campo de batalla que fue honrado con el rango de Inquisidor.
Es por eso que ha conservado todo este tiempo el cráneo de ese Genestealer que le permitió llegar hasta la posición que ostenta hoy en día"

"It's been a long time since the Servoskull accompanies Inquisitor Kikoho while he goes from one corner of the galaxy to the other.
While on an expedition, when he was just an Apprentice on his Master's orders, he saved his life from the attack of a Genestealer that came out of the shadows by puting himself in front of the menace.
The Tyranid corpse was taken into some research facilities and as a reward, Kikoho was allowed to experiment with he's well deserved trophy.
It was because of the dedication he put on his investigations, and for the courage and loyalty demonstrated on the battlefield as well that he was honored with the Inquisitor rank.
This is why he has retained the Genestealer skull all this time, because ot was what allowed him to reach the position it holds today."

Ordo Xenos - Asesina del Culto de la Muerte pintada / Painted Death Cult Assassin

He terminado la Aesina del Culto de la Muerte, así que aqui la tengo!

I've finished the Death Cult Assassin, so I'll show you how it looks like!

"Muchas son las victimas de las guerras del milenio 41, pero de entre ellas, las más tristes son los huérfanos.
Algunos de ellos se cruzan en el camino de un Inquisidor que pretende encontrarles un uso.
Este es uno de esos casos en que una niña; llena de odio hacia la raza alienigena que se llevó la vida de sus padres dejándola sola en el mundo; decide aprovechar la oportunidad que el Inquisidor Kikoho le proporcionó.
Fueron años de experimentación y entrenamiento, pero ahora es un arma mortífera a disposición del Inquisidor. Reflejos felinos que le permiten esquivar incluso las balas, y brazos que han mutado en afiladas garras capaces de atravesar ceramita como si fuera papel y la fuerza de voluntad para hacer llegar la venganza de la humanidad hasta los rincones más recónditos de la galaxia."

Comos se puede ver, he mantenido el esquema de las miniaturas anteriores. Purpura para las garras que simbolizan Armas de Energia, rojo para las zonas más mutadas y para el corpiño (muy típico en las Asesinas) y pantalones del mismo color que sus compañeros.

As you can see, I've keept the colour scheme of the previous models. Purple for the claws as those are Power Weapons, red for the more mutated areas and for the corset (really common on the Assassins) and the pants are the same colour as her partners.

Ordo Xenos - Siervocráneo / Servoskull

Bueno, hoy traigo un Siervocráneo para el Inquisidor.
Como podeis ver, la idea se inicia con un cráneo de Genestealer que tenía rondando por casa.

Well, today I'll show you a Servoskull for the Inquisitor.

As you can see, the base idea started with a Genestealer skull I had.

En la parte trasera de la cabeza añado parte de una mochila de radiotransmisión de Guardia Imperial:

In the back of the head I add part of an Imperial Guard radio-operator backpack:

Y terminado! (con algunos cables añadidos):

Así nos mantenemos en la tónica Xenos del Inquisidor y añadimos un Servocráneo, que por lo que valen pueden ir bastante bien y me mola como se ven xD

This way we mantain the Xenos theme of the Inquisitor and add a Servoskull, that can be very useful and look cool xD

Ordo Xenos - Siervo pintado / Servitor painted

Buenas!
Hoy seguimos con al Séquito Inquisitorial, volvemos al Siervo con Arma Pesada que finalmente está pintado.
Como podéis ver he usado los colores de mi Flota Enjambre, ya que quería practicar la fusión de colores con la piel humana (para mi futuro Culto Genestealer).

"Antes humano, ahora más que eso. El Inquisidor Kikoho se ha encargado de dar a este soldado una nueva oportunidad para defender el Imperio. Ni que decir tiene que estas "mejoras" no están libres de riesgos; solo los más fuertes y con mayor fuerza de voluntad pueden intentar obtenerlas, pues solo ellos pueden soportar los terribles dolores de la cirugía en sus cuerpos y la influencia psíquica del organismo Tiránido en sus mentes."

Today we'll still be doing the Inquisitorial Henchman, we return with the Servitor with Heavy Weapon that is finally painted.
As you can see, I've used the colour scheme of my Hive Fleet, because I wanted to experiment with the colours of it and of human flesh (for my future Genestealer Cult).

"Once a human; now more than that. Inquisitor Kikoho has given this soldier a new oportunity to fight for the Imperium. There is no need to point out that this "improvements" are not free of risk; only the strongest and willpowered can try to obtain them, cause they are the only ones that can withstand the excruciating pain of the surgery on their bodies and the psíquic influence of the Tyranid organism on their minds."

Ordo Xenos - Asesina del Culto de la Muerte / Death Cult Assassin

Buenas!

Hoy traigo una figura de Diablilla que tengo desde hace un montón de años, y he pensado que era momento de darle buen uso como Asesina del Culto de la Muerte del Inquisidor Kikoho.

En este caso se habrían realizado experimentos en una niña para que al crecer se convirtiese en una letal luchadora con reflejos felinos, para lo cual una Diablilla con garras de crustáceo no queda nada mal.

Today I'll show you a Daemonette that I have since God knows when, and I wanted to finally use it as a Death Cult Assassin for Inquisitor Kikoho.
This time, a little girl would have been the subject of lots of experiments so when she grew up, she would be a lethal warrior with awesome reflexes, and the Daemonette could be a great model for that.

Le copié un brazo con masilla y le hice un corsé porque creo que así queda un poco más como las miniaturas de GW para las Asesinas.

I copied the arm with greenstuff, and did corset on her because it looks more similar to the Assassins GW does (in my opinion).

Supongo que las piernas las pintaré como con mallas (ya veremos de que color) y la zona del torso o como una malla también o simplemente desnuda, ya veremos como sale.
Espero que os parezca interesante xD

I think I'll do the legs as if she had leggings or something and the torso I'll do the same or just plain nude, I'll see what I do.
